This calculation aims to compare different cities based on emission inventories compatible greenhouse gases and with a perspective of overall life cycle, taking into account the origin of raw materials and energy. Thus, the discovery of new factors in emissions of greenhouse gases corresponding to the life of cities, which should reach the concerned to make policies consistent with the origin of the particular problem of each population.

The emissions inventory is divided by Green Investment Ltda. into seven categories: electricity, heating and industrial fuels, industrial processes, urban transport, aviation, other transport and waste.
