The
creation of Sapahaqui was in May 29 1899 by order of the Assembly
Government integrated by Macario Pinilla, Reyes Ortiz and the General
Jose Manuel Pando. Sapahaqui means "Solo" was reconstructed
3km lower than the original and oldest town, destroyed by a flood
in 1946.
Sapahaqui
is one of the most important valleys in Loayza (La Paz) province,
having his name in honour by Gral. Jose Ramon de Loayza who participate
in the Independence war of Bolivia.
The
Sapahaqui town is located 96km from La Paz city at 3350 tm over
the sea and with temperatures between 16 C· and 22C·,
there are three ways to reach this town, the road Lapis Ordure taking
a detour by Villa Remedios. The second entry is from Calamarca and
the third entry is by Villa Loza, using the Urmiri road.
This
region has a warm climate and a good weather most part of the year,
where you can grow peaches, pears, plums, apricots, and grapes,
they also have wines and singeing in (Chivisivi, Parani, Calachapi
and other locations). By the other hand this town has hotel, guest
houses and hostels.

Hacienda
This
rural property it's located in a community with the same name "Canton
Sapahaqui" of the Loayza province in La Paz; the topography
of this zone is very particular with "close valleys "
and a height of 2800m , the temperature about 23·C and the
warm climate with 500mm of pluvial precipitation per year.
This
average numbers indicate the positive conditions for good agriculture
production.
The
features and benefits of the area are identify by the "cordillera
Real" ,and Sapahaqui up and down hills .
Chivisivi
Hacienda was built in the colony time, at first it was a Franciscan
monastery and after in the 1840 Mariscal Jose Ballivian the president
of the republic was the only owner. In September 1906 the property
was sold to Mr Rodolfo Aramayo Zapata the owner up to day.
Chivisivi
Hacienda has majestic constructions 15 rooms, a fancy living -room
a dining -room many lounges terraces and gardens that include storing
and fermentation rooms for the elaboration of wines and singanis.
